Upcoming Events!

Another exciting month!

Our brave Firefighters inspiring the next generation of heroes! What a fun and exciting day, as our kids learned so much about fire safety and exploring the fire truck.

And to end the year, children sang Christmas carols, Santa said, “HOHOHO” and Teachers cheered with delight. Merry Christmas Everyone!

The month of October was filled with pumpkins of fun! We opened up a couple of pumpkins to explore the look, smell and feel of them. Children had a frightful time working on spooky activities and were extra pumped about the pumpkin patch and Trunk-or-Treating. Can’t wait to do it all again next year!

Keeping Our Bodies Healthy

Now with fall on our door steps, it’s time to protect ourselves from germs! Preschoolers learned about our bodies and keeping healthy. A parent, who also works as a nurse showed the children how a good lathering with soap and scrubbing your hands for 20 seconds is an important process in removing all the germs. Children went home enthusiastic for hand washing that day.

Police Officer Day

Help! Someone stole our DONUTS! Officer Welch, Officer James and Officer Pat were here to the rescue! The Village children got to be Junior Detectives. They looked for clues from the crime scene and followed the crumbs that were left behind. Hooray, the donuts were found and safe!

This was the best safety presentation EVER!

Back to School with Kona Ice of Manhattan Beach

Back to school isn’t the end of summer fun, it’s the beginning of another year full of fun! What a fantastic day for a playdate.

Our Favorite Memories of the 2022-23 School Year

Children’s day is celebrated on May 5th in Japan and South Korea. Carp kites, pinwheels streamers are among items used in the festivities. We had so much fun decorating our Koinobori and pinwheels thanks to our amazing families who helped prepared these special activities.

Happy Children’s Day to all the children!

Thank you to our wonderful families for spoiling us for Teacher’s Appreciation! We LOVE working with your beautiful children and feel so blessed!

A special visit from our favorite dentist, Dr. Mori from Pearly Smiles Pediatric in Torrance. Thank you for keeping our smiles bright!

Chapel Time/Story Time with The Village families and teachers on Zoom!

Thank you Ms. Dena for finding such a creative way for us to interact with each other even while at home. For those who could not attend the last session, we hope you join us this week and every week. I was also excited to see that there was an “All Friends Zoom” meeting created by Nicole (Lucy's mom) last week, and it reminded me that we truly are a village that comes together for our children and our community. Thank you all for supporting one another during this time of uncertainty.
